Most pool owners know that it is a good idea to keep the pool clean. Some basic maintenance like skimming and adding the proper chemicals can keep your pool in tip-top shape for when those summer months roll around you’re wanting to cannonball your way into that cool, refreshing water. Even if you don’t have plaster and instead have concrete or even steel pool walls, you can open your pool up to damage and excessive staining by leaving your pool green.

So as you prepare for these warm summer months – the most active time for your pool – remember that even in the off season, you need to keep up with the basic maintenance for your pool if you want it to be ready when you need it.
